New York-New York, USA will allow the pharmacy to perform Corona virus tests (COVID-19). New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said about 5,000 pharmacies will do the test. Reported by the BBC on Sunday (26/4/2020), the move was taken so that the state to be the center of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country could carry out tests of 40,000 every day.

Cuomo previously on Saturday also announced that antibody examinations would be expanded in four hospitals, starting with frontline medical workers. He also said independent pharmacies would be allowed to collect samples for diagnostic tests.

The acceptance of the State hospital has also begun to descend, Cuomo said, in what he described as a sign of the crisis began to subside. However, he urged residents to remain cautious.

The US has more than 938,000 confirmed cases. Nearly a third of 53,751 deaths took place in New York City alone. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump did not hold his daily briefing, saying it is not worth the "time or effort".

Speaking on Twitter on Saturday, he blamed the media for asking  "Anything but a hostile question". Trump was previously heavily criticized after suggesting at the White House press conference Thursday that the disinfectant could potentially be used as a treatment for the Corona virus.

His statement has been condemned as dangerous by doctors and producers, since disinfectants are harmful substances and can be toxic if swallowed.

In New York City, calls to the hotline for exposure to certain household chemicals more than doubled in 18 hours after Trump's statement – 30 cases compared to 13 for the same period of time last year.
